Early looks at the new Mazda CX-5 reveal it has taken a lot of design cues from the larger Mazda CX-9, featuring a more angular face, a new grille, and slenderer headlights.

The new Mazda CX-5 will also boast an updated cabin that has been designed around the needs of the driver, with features that include an available Active Driving Display that displays vehicle information right in the driver’s line of sight.

The Mazda CX-5 lineup also has a new exterior color, Soul Red Crystal, which was created using a three-layer paint process that utilizes light manipulation.

Also found onboard the new Mazda CX-5 are additional noise-reduction features and available i-ACTIVSENSE® safety technologies.
