Both the 2014 Mazda3 4-door and 5-door models can come equipped with your choice of two powerful, efficient engines. Thanks to the use of SKYACTIV engineering, these powertrains feature outstanding compression ratios for fast acceleration without sacrificing fuel efficiency.

2.0L SKYACTIV-G Engine: All 2014 Mazda3 vehicles are outfitted standard with this engine. It’s capable of 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of peak torque for outstanding standard performance output. The 2.0L SKYACTIV powertrain gets an estimated 29 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway when mated to the standard 6-speed manual transmission.

2.5L SKYACTIV-G Engine: Drivers interested in an engine that delivers an even more exciting drive might want to consider the available 2.5L SKYACTIV powertrain. It puts out 184 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque, all while getting an estimated 39 mpg on the highway when mated to the standard 6-speed automatic transmission.

Mazda Radar Cruise Control: By monitoring the traffic in front of the vehicle, the 2014 Mazda3 will automatically adjust its speed to keep a safe following distance.

Blind Spot Monitoring: When traffic is approaching from either side of the vehicle, a visual cue will show up on the corresponding side-view mirror to provide additional visibility.
