Mazda Honored as ‘Best Car Brand’ by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report has named Mazda North American Operations the “Best Car Brand” for 2016, adding yet another milestone in an already eventful year for Mazda.

In addition to this latest accolade, Mazda has dotted 2016 with various innovations, including introducing a redesigned Mazda MX-5 Miata to the auto world as well as debuting a new Mazda CX-3 and the recently unveiled Mazda RX-VISION Concept.

No. 1 in More Ways Than One

This latest honor is enhanced by the fact that Mazda is the very first auto maker to ever receive the “Best Car Brand” award from U.S. World News & World Report. The designation is a new honor that is part of the recently introduced 2016 “Best Vehicle Brands” award series, joining U.S. News & World Report’s yearly “Best Cars for the Money” and “Best Cars for Families” awards.

Four categories are included in this new array of accolades:

“Best Vehicle Brand” winners are determined through the use of a combination of scores taken from U.S. News “Best Cars” rankings across every model in each award category.
