It then will interpret the information it acquires, and adjust the torque settings, sending power to specific axles in order to improve road-holding capabilities and traction. Mazda AWD cars with this system have an advanced active torque split AWD system. The i-ACTIV AWD® system is paired with Front-Wheel Slip-Warning Detection System, which also uses sensors that monitor wheel slips, and move the torque to the rear wheels as required, all of which help you maintain or recover control of your vehicle on Bartlett roads.
